The AWCCI wasted no time in getting down to business. We have now completed Australia's first national women business owners research project. The poll was supported by the Australian and NSW Governments our Alliances, Sponsors, Partners and Associates; it is Australia's first comprehensive survey of women business owners.

The research results from women around the country will be available in February.

The data will help the AWCCI represent women business owners to government and industry, inform on better policies and programs and better support women whose businesses are based in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote communities.

A Voice for Women In Business

We are Australia's first and only national chamber for women.

The AWCCI's charter is to instigate research, promote trade and commerce, and advocate for gender equality in business.

The Chamber was launched in March 2011 on International Women's Day to ensure women in business have a voice in shaping policy and decision-making.

We also provide our members with the tools and resources required to actively engage in trade and business opportunities in Australia and overseas.

With the support of our Alliances, Sponsors, Partners and Associates the AWCCI is committed to evidence based research to further women's participation in the business sector.
