Resilient Business: Magic or Planned Progress Forums and Networking Events in regional Australia with Deborah Hutton 

AWCCI is holding forums and networking events for local women business owners in regional Australia in 2012. We urge all women business owners in manufacturing to attend.

Deborah Hutton, Australian media personality, television presenter and designer of her own brand of home wares, Living with Deborah Hutton, will be the host at the 2012 Business Continuity Plan regional forums.

This free event, which includes lunch, will benefit all women business owners; we urge all women in manufacturing to please attend.

The half-day educational forum and networking event titled Resilient Business: Magic or Planning Progress?  will be presented by two experts in this area: Julie Viney and Jodie Wentworth. 

The forums will assist women business owners with the development, implementation and maintenance of a Business Continuity Plan. Attendees will learn how to prepare their businesses in order to survive beyond non-routine disruptions as well as receive information on the opportunities available for businesses to thrive following adversity.

 



Speakers

Julie Viney
  Julie Viney is a Head of IT Service Continuity for Origin Energy, she is based in Melbourne. She has many years of international experience in all aspects of Business Continuity Management including Crisis and Emergency Management, Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Strategies and Planning, Scenario Exercises and also IT Service Continuity Management.  

Julie is a Member and ex-Director of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) where she has been actively involved since 1999 and is currently the BCI Victoria Forum Leader. She has specialised in Business Continuity Management for more than 18 years.  
Julie has delivered numerous Business Continuity and IT Service Continuity Management projects for organisations in diverse business sectors including finance, manufacturing, ICT and the public sector.
Julie is also a qualified Project Manager with additional experience in IT security and Enterprise Risk Management
.


Jodie Wentworth

  Jodie Wentworth has more than 10 years’ experience developing, implementing and maintaining Business Continuity plans in both the UK and Australia.

As head of RiskLogic’s Business Continuity Team, Jodie has implemented, challenged and grown Business Continuity programs across a diverse range of industries including financial services, distribution, the public sector, infrastructure, telecommunications, and manufacturing.
 

Jodie has a deep interest, and awareness, of the human impact of disasters, and a strong desire to learn from the experiences of others
